Arab providers and DAC members are influential players in international development co-operation. Since 2009, the “Arab-DAC Dialogue on Development” has become an important event for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on sustainable development, and has created a forum for collaboration towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The 2024 Dialogue will be taking place amidst a period of global uncertainty, with multiple conflicts, climate change and scarcity threatening the progress made towards achieving the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The 2024 edition of the Arab-DAC Dialogue focuses on how to scale up the quantity and the quality of development finance and co-operation by delving into the subjects of: (a) Financing for Sustainable Development in a Changing Context and (b) Working Together for Better Results and Partnerships.
