The list of Global Gateway flagship projects for the year 2023 included a total of 87 projects and set specific milestones for the implementation of the actions within the year. Two projects of Greek interest were included in the 2023 list, a Greece-Egypt electrical interconnection project (GREGY interconnector) and a Greece-Cyprus-Israel electrical interconnection project (EuroAsia interconnector) – supported by Cyprus.
