Director General for Development and Humanitarian Assistance of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Alexandros Diakopoulos, participated in the EU Development Directors General Meeting, which was held on 21-22 June 2022 in Brussels, along with the European Development Days. On the first day of the meeting the discussion focused on the impact of the war in Ukraine on the energy, food and microeconomic situation in partner countries and the means of financing humanitarian and reconstruction efforts in Ukraine, when it will be possible. The second day of the meeting was devoted to the Global Gateway, flagships and Team Europe Initiatives.
