On the occasion of the 4th Peer Review of Greece’s development co-operation policies and programmes by the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the OECD (April-November 2018), in which a significant number of stakeholders (Ministries, International Organizations and other entities) were actively involved, a special event for the official launch of the 4th Peer Review’s outcome was held at the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Monday, 11 February 2019.
In the framework of this event, the OECD/DAC representative, Mr. John Egan, outlined ways for building and delivering a new vision for Greek development co-operation. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Terens Nikolaos Quick, reiterated Greece’s commitment for the implementation of the 4th Peer Review’s recommendations, including the adoption, in 2019, of a new legal framework for Greece’s international development cooperation. The Secretary-General of the Ministry for Migration Policy, Mr. Ilias-Miltiadis Klapas, presented the Greek efforts to respond effectively to migration-related challenges, based on the principles of humanity and solidarity.
