The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and the European Investment Bank (EIB), is organizing an informative meeting via videoconference (VTC) regarding the “Global Gateway” Strategy and specifically the related funding opportunities offered by the European Investment Bank (EIB), on Wednesday, 25 June 2025, from 12:00 to 13:45.
The “Global Gateway” Strategy aims to leverage investments totaling up to €300 billion for the period 2021–2027, mobilizing both EU development mechanisms and the private sector for the development of global infrastructure. The five main pillars of the “Global Gateway” Strategy are: digital transition, climate and energy, transport, health, as well as education and research. Geographically, it focuses on the regions of Africa, the Western Balkans and EU Neighbourhood countries, Asia and the Pacific, as well as Latin America and the Caribbean.
