In the framework of the Fetal Medicine/Prenatal Control Programme 2022-2025, implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, in collaboration with the “Fetal Medicine Foundation” of London, gynecologists from Prenatal Control Center of the Obstetrics Clinic of the University Hospital of Kosovo, are trained at the “Ippokrateio” General Hospital of Thessaloniki.
The training, is carried out in the 3rd Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki which is headed by Professor Apostolos Mamopoulos, and is coordinated by the Associate Professor Themistoklis Dagklis and the Assistant Professor Ioannis Tsakiridis, by a team of Specialist doctors in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
It will be held at regular intervals until the end of 2025, when the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) expires. The aim of the training is the further upgrading of the newly established (within the framework of the Programme) Prenatal Control Center of the Obstetrics Clinic of the University Hospital of Kosovo. The training of the first group of doctors from Kosovo at the Gynecology Clinic of the Aristotle University, started on Monday, 11th of November 2024.
