Greek humanitarian aid, administered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, arrived at El Arish airport in Egypt on April 12, 2024, with its final destination being the Gaza Strip.
The cargo, donated by the International Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHAF), comprises 900 boxes of personal hygiene and first aid items. These were transported on 7 air pallets, weighing a total of 1.645 kg, with a volume of 10,15 m3.
The transport was facilitated by a civil cargo aircraft operated by DG ECHO/EUHAB for Gaza.
This shipment is part of a continuing effort by Greece to support the civilian population of Gaza, following a previous delivery of pharmaceutical and medical supplies on December 28, 2023.
