Following the unprecedented human tragedy caused by the devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria and in order to provide all possible assistance to the affected areas, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andreas Katsaniotis has undertaken, upon instruction from the Prime Minister, the coordination of agencies and individuals that wish to assist in the collection of humanitarian aid.

Furthermore, upon instruction from Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Crisis Management Unit has been activated to provide any necessary assistance to Greek citizens in the earthquake-affected areas of Türkiye and Syria.
